The 2013 Union
“The Union series is the culmination of years of development and the combination of our most advanced materials and construction methods. Inspired by our team, the Union series blends the functionality of a traditional wakeboard with the flex and feel of a thinner park board. Our Crossover SL Core combines both Nova and E-Core materials to produce a lightweight feel with maximum durability. The 360-degree ABS sidewall construction provides superior impact protection while the Sintered Enduro base offers our most durable running surface to date. The Union shape itself is designed around a continuous rocker line which provides great pop and maintains speed into the wake. The subtle base features allow this series to generate edge hold but also provides solid contact on rails. Allowing a rider the option to micro adjust their stance with the addition of the Strata Mounting system was the final element to this innovative design. ” -Hyperlite
The 2013 Marek Boot (Rusty Malinoski)
“Rusty’s new boot is built like nothing the wake industry has ever seen because of its true footwear construction. The 2013 AJ Boot (Jimmy Lariche)
“Jimmy LaRiche spent a lot of time thinking about how to create the perfect boot for his style. Designing something that was supportive with great flexion was his main goal. Introducing a whole new look to wake footwear was an added bonus. The AJ boot takes everything Jimmy was looking for from a performance standpoint and packages it in a progressive, street inspired boot. The lower cut of the cuff allows a rider the mobility they need for poked out tricks while the integrated Heel Hold Down System provides added support. The new AJ also utilizes a traditional lacing system for a hassle free session and the added benefit of customizing your lace color. The 2013 B-Side (Jd Webb)
“The B-Side series design begins at the rocker line, which is set at a 2.6 inch Blended 3–Stage. The B-Side carries more speed into the wake than ever before. This series also features a shallower, ABS polymer molded-in fin that ends nearly an inch from the tip of the board for a buttery smooth release off the wake and maximum durability on sliders. The elevated footbed reinforces the fore body of the deck to maintain a solid rocker line off the wake, but also allows for a thinned out tip and tail creating minimum swing weight and great control on rails. This series is truly a freeride masterpiece.” – Hyperlite
