Nautique Boats extends Moomba Masters to 2020

ORLANDO, FL (March 10, 2015) – Nautique and the Victorian Water Ski Association (VWSA) are proud to announce their extended partnership cementing Nautique as the exclusive towboat of the Moomba Masters Invitational held in Melbourne, Australia through 2020.

“We are proud to continue our longstanding partnership with Nautique and we’re extremely excited for what the future holds,” commented VWSAPresident and Moomba Masters Chairman Darren Robertson. “This year was once again a success and we’ve already started on new ideas for next year to take this world class event to the next level,” added Robertson.

The Moomba Masters Invitational was held this past weekend with record breaking attendance of over 200,000 spectators lining the shores of the Yarra River to watch the world’s best athletes compete exclusively behind the world record breaking Ski Nautique 200 and the award winning Super Air Nautique G23. The Weekend Getaway

So our Team Rider and young up and coming Blake Bishop has a dreamy private cable park in the rolling hills of Georgia.  Recently Blake and some of the Slingshot wake team riders descended upon his watering hole and Patrick Wieland filmed a killer edit.  Sit back and watch Blake Bishop, Pierce Bishop, Ben Leclair, James Windsor, Steffen Vollert, Alex Graydon, and Manu Rupp go off at the B Town Compound.

Inside The 2015 Wakeboard World Series

This year the WWA released a world series bigger than anything we have seen before.  Seriously, the locations and prize money are the best it has ever been.  We sat down with Corrie Wilson and she helped to answer some of our questions regarding the upcoming 2015 Wakeboard World Series.

BW:  So first things first – $425,000 is a ton of chedder.  How did you all manage to pull such funds?  “The 2015 Wakeboard World Series is unlike anything wake sports has seen in the past including the largest payout ever offered”

The WWA: We really wanted to raise the bar this year for the Wakeboard World Series. The WWA’s partners, both domestically and internationally, all share our vision for the future of wakeboarding. Everyone got together and really stepped up for this year’s Wakeboard World Series; we couldn’t be more excited. 2015 Liquid Force LTDs

Liquid Force is doing it big this year with their LTD line of wakeboard and bindings for 2015.  Once again the product is only available at your local wakeboard retailers, but don’t worry we should hopefully have some before too long.  The whole line looks really good!  What set up would you rock?

2015 Pro Wake Tour Is Coming

So today the announcement and schedule of locations and dates for the 2015 Pro Wake Tour surfaced.  With the demise of the PWT a few months ago it has resurfaced like a phoenix and just might prove that competitive wakeboarding isn’t going anywhere.  This year is going to be nothing but stacked with competitive wakeboarding from major boat manufactures such as The Nautique Wake Series, The Malibu Evolution Pro Series,  and Mastercraft is rumored to have a few events up its sleeve.   2015 has the potential to be the biggest year in competitive wakeboarding…YOU HERE THAT XGAMES!!!
