The online action sports channel NetworkA, wich can be found at the intersection of Surf, Skate, Snow, BMX, Ski, & Moto – recently added a clip from DEFY to their YouTube page. The clip showcases Dean Smith‘s exceptional kicker skills and gives wakeboarding a brief, but impactful spotlight in the arena of mainstream action sports. We hope this trend continues.

Colin Harrington has long been revered as a wakeboarder’s wakeboarder – he’s driven, creative, and a damn good rider, too. It’s his unique surf/skate style that really defines Colin as a wakeboarder. The renowned film collective Brain Farm, known for putting out revolutionary full-length snowboard videos, teamed up with snowboarder Rob Kingwill to produce this commercial for Mercedes Benz. Flat snowboarding is an interesting concept. We wish Rob would have tried the “superman”, though.
Scott Byerly, Bret Little, George Daniels, and Brandon Thomas documented a recent trip to McCormick’s Cable Park in Tampa, Florida. Luckily for us they brought their own boards, cameras, and turntables.
It’s sick to see more of the Valdosta Wake Compound. Much less, Quinn Silvernale shredding it to pieces. We’re looking forward to making a weekend trip this Spring.
