Wake for Warriors – Strength Through Sharing and Shredding

Wake for Warriors is a non-profit organization founded in 2010 by Marine Corps veteran Dave Deep. After serving four deployments abroad, Dave experienced first hand what our brave men and women in uniform were dealing with and decided he was going to do something to help them. Dave is passionate about wakeboarding and wakesurfing and wanted to channel his love of watersports into a positive, healing experience for his fellow service members.

We Came as Warriors, We Left as Friends

“Wake for Warriors is all about helping to alleviate those physical and emotional wounds that effect military members and their families,” reflects Deep. “Through wakeboarding and wakesurfing, we help service men and women make connections with other veterans and help heal through a weekend on the water.” Read More >

Yardsale II at Valdosta Wake Compound

If you were at Yardsale last year at Valdosta Wake Compound then there was no way you would miss out on this year’s Yardsale II.  This year’s format consisted of a main event on the full size cable combined with a six group video contest all going down in a three-day time span.  Yardsale II did not disappoint!

Friday was a full day of qualifying for the main event with regional riders and international riders all gunning for the top spot to get into the main show.  Our homie Brock Baker from Texas put in DOWN in his run and barely missed out to Dary Znebel, proving his level of talent.  We can’t wait to see more of him this season.  By the end of the day everything was set for the main event, but we couldn’t call it a night without a killer party.  Trust us…the party was all time. In the Backwoods with Slingshot Rider Blake Bishop

In the world of wakeboarding Blake Bishop is pretty well known thanks to his backing from us and Slingshot with his videos like Untamed and other selections, but what’s he really like off the water now that he is now creeping into his twenties?

Sure, he may still rep that Gucci Gang and 1000 BPM music every now and then, but there is another side to Blake that most wouldn’t imagine; he at heart is a calm kid who enjoys just getting away from it all.  When you grow up traveling the world riding in contests and having you’re own personal cable park (#BTownCompound) what more would you want, right?  Without diving into details Blake’s family now owns a new home on a shit ton of acreage and there are future plans to build arguable one of the dopest cable parks on that land.  We’re very, very excited to see this come to fruition. 2018 Hyperlite Shreducation Clinic

What do you do when Hyperlite wants you to take a few days off work, come down to Florida, and attend this years Shreducation?  YOU GO!

We packed up the truck early and ripped out of ATL around 5:00 AM for a quick stop in Valdosta to slap hi fives with the homies at Valdosta Wake Compound.  If you get a chance to swing through, make sure you’ve got your board with you because this place needs to be on your bucket list!
We landed in Orlando around 2:00 PM and were able to squeeze in a little round of golf on the front 9 with Jeff Langley and Marc Rossiter.  Thanks for the laughs, fellas.  We look forward to a full round of golf with you guys soon!

Fast forward to 5:00 PM and we pull into Orlando Watersports Complex, the hub of pretty much all cable riding in Orlando.  Talk about being BLOWN OUT!  White caps everywhere, but it wasn’t enough to keep folks from ripping! Read More >

Josh Zentmeyer – Battle Falls

Our good friend and Team Rider JZ sent us this sweet little wakeskating edit of him down at Reed’s place Battle Falls.  As you know those rails have since been removed, but man so manny hammers have gone down there.  The drone footage was done by the legend himself Matt Manzari.

Enjoy the show!
