The Return of Mike Dowdy

So I spoke with Mike yesterday and he is fully cleared to get back on the wakeboard again. Now don’t jump to conclusions of seeing multiple double flips just yet. Mike has been busting his ass training and rehabbing his knee slowly to get his knee stronger for longevity. Only a few weeks ago he started wakesurfing to get the “feel” of being on the water. The power of the mind is unreal when you focus your thoughts on what you want and Mike wants it all. We are all stoked to see him ride again, but his great return will come at his pace not ours.

What time is it?

Today was a good day. Apple launched their new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and I for one couldn’t be happier. See I paid $500 last year for a iPhone 5s 64GB and i’ve loved it ever since. It has a killer camera and my slo-mo videos are off the chain! Now with the ability to do MEGA SLO MO at 240fps I can slow down every wake trick and analyze the tar out of it and ultimately gain more wake knowledge right? Apple blew my mind with the phone and then went straight for the head shot with releasing the Apple Watch. They took a category they have never been in and will now surly dominate it. So what are your thoughts on this invention of a true “Smart Watch”?

2015 Ronix Dealer Days – Recap

Another successful dealer days in the books!

Perfect Washington weather hovering around the mid-70’s, hallowed grounds at Radar Lake, and an exclusive insight to the 2015 Ronix Line. What more could you ask for?

This year I got to take John “Bubba” Goza – our Trip to Radar Lake Sweepstakes Winner – up with me. The Ronix Crew and myself included couldn’t have been luckier to spend a few awesome days with such a solid dude. It truly was an honor to get to know Bubba and to ride with him.

Bubba and I got into Seattle late Thursday night and since we are both East Coast guys, we were up at the butt crack of dawn the next morning – ready to hear about the new gear and go straight into riding it. We were about 3 hours early to breakfast, but I got my bowl of Lucky Charms cereal to start off the day – haha. Read More >

Wake Park Triple Crown | Terminus Wake Park

Such a fun weekend with the Ambush Board Co. and BuyWake.com out at Terminus! Ambush was well represented with team riders Blake Bishop, Justin Lee, Josh Zentmeyer, Quinn Silvernale. Rob Corum and the WWA crew did a spectacular job with the event and host park Terminus has one of the nicest parks hands down. We were equally as stoked as Justin Lee when we found out he was in the finals of Pro Men Cable! Justin placed 4th, but landing your self in the finals with some of the best riders in the world isn’t too shabby. Blake and Cross landed podium spots respectively in Open Men with a 2nd (Blake) and 3rd (Cross). One of the biggest wins of the day was Remote Wakeskate / Ambush Team rider Josh Zentmeyer taking the top spot in Pro Wakeskate!
