Aaron Rathy – The Tribute

Over the years, Canadian rider Aaron Rathy has proven himself a force on any discipline. Whether it be hitting moneybooters behind a G23 or pressing around OWC, Rathy is comfortable. Here’s an edit from Spencer Norris featuring Rathy at the helm, lighting up every feature he touches .

“I started this project a year ago with large intentions. Aaron Rathy and I had an elaborate story board, and covered all the bases as far as wakeboarding goes. Then my hard drive internally combusted and a years worth of footage was lost. It was a blow to the heart for the both of us and quite possibly the worst day of my career. This video represent the few pieces we were able to put back together. Ronix Dealer Days 2013 at Radar Lake

Over the past the four years our buyer and wake wizard, Billy Witcher AKA ‘Bill the Thrill’, has bumped elbows with wakebooarding’s most prolific people in a host of exclusive settings. This Summer was no different. Upon Billy’s return from his latest trip to Radar Lake for Ronix’s famed Dealer Days, I had to hit him up and get the details.

So give us the lowdown on Ronix’s Dealer Days. I’ve heard good things.

Dealer Days is basically about a two week period where Ronix dealers are invited up to the “mecca” (Radar Lake) of our sport to spend time with their reps in a more casual environment to check out the new product line, test anything you wanted to, and enjoy a roaring bonfire each night while throwing back some cold ones. 2014 Super Air Nautique 210 and 230

Nautique Boats recently uncovered the the all new design for the 2014 Super Air Nautique (SAN) 210 and 230. Both models boast a redesigned hull, bigger ballast, heat resistant Nau-Teak flooring, improved visibility from the drivers seat, a new dash, and much more.

Down Under 2013 Edit

Here at the BuyWake Global Headquarters, it’s a rare occurrence when a web edit comes along and inspires us to go hit kickers for three hours straight. That’s exactly what this gem of an edit from That Film Guy did. Rockstar Energy offers up a full recap of the Retention, the second stop of The Wakeskate Tour in this 10 min video recap.

The Ambush Wakeskate team made a solid showing, with Ben Horan taking the top spot in the six man final. The three day event was a festival of progression in wakeskating and skateboarding. With the addiction of the Sesitec System 2.0 allowing for extra pulls and lengthier heats, Retention is becoming the premier stop for The Wakeskate Tour.
