Hyperlite Signs Scott Stewart

The BuyWake.com Global Rider Search continues to prove a golden opportunity for riders looking to pursue a professional wakeboarding career. Last years winner, Scott Stewart, has taken the next step towards his dream by signing a factory sponsorship with Hyperlite Wake MFG.

“I knew instantly Scott Stewart was a gem that was unearthed in our Global Rider Search contest. Raw controlled aggression with a flare to be different is how I describe Scott’s riding style. Gas Price Solutions | Future of Wakeboats

Gas prices are high and are showing no signs of coming down (maybe that’s why Dubai is the new wakeboarding hotspot?). Unless you can pull off some crazy s**t like this guy , you will definitely be forking out the Benjamins this summer for a day on the lake.

Enter Correct Craft (CC), a boating company that operates on a lofty foundation of 87 years of unparalleled quality and innovation. Recently, CC announced via press release that they will be unveiling the first all-electric wakeboarding boat at the Detroit Boat Show in a couple weeks in the form of a Super Air Nautique 230E. Check out the press release below:

Considering the boating industry is the driving force behind watersports, we are excited to see this sort of innovation. Hopefully, other companies will take notice. Here’s the specs of the current gas-powered Super Air Nautique 230 as seen on www.nautique.com. Read More >

Wake Park Tank Breaks at ATL Boatshow

A water tank inside the Georgia World Congress Center collapsed this morning sending nearly 200,000 gallons of water across the floor of the Georgia World Congress Center. The tank was the first of two pools in the new Wake Park, the Boat Show’s main attraction.

The water was powerful enough to misplace bleachers, boats, and other items. The cause of the collapse is not yet known.
