Today the temperature here in beautiful Kennesaw, GA is 82° and you know what that means. It means we are nearly amidst full-on WAKE season. 2017 Hyperlite Shreducation with BuyWake.com

#shreducation17 Was a Huge Success!

Once a year Hyperlite and Byerly Boards invite their top dealers to make their way down to sunny Florida for a few days to shreducation to learn about the brands with hands-on clinics and demos and get the full personal treatment. This year we headed down to the 4th annual Shreducation to hang out with our longtime friend and rep Eddie Beverly and check out the scene. It’s truly amazing the amount of R&D and technology that Hyperlite and Byerly Boards put into their product. We started off with visiting the surfing legend and infamous shaper Scott “Butch” Buchard at his studio in Satellite Beach, Florida. After a morning of watching and listening to Butch talk about all that goes into making a wakeboard and some of his wakesurfer designs we headed out on the Intracoastal for a chance to ride all the new 2017 product. Ballast Bags – More Weight, Bigger Wakes!

It’s officially spring (as of yesterday), so it’s time to get things in order for an epic 2017 season. Go grab your ball hitch, back the truck up, and get the boat headed to the lake! On your way down to the boat ramp, one thing to consider this year is how can you take your riding to the next level. How about ballast?

We’re pretty sure that nine times out of ten, you automatically think about the gear you are riding – a new wakeboard, different bindings, a heavier wakeskate, a whole new surf shape, etc. But, what about that big beauty you just dropped into the lake; YOUR BOAT!?
Makes sense right?! More weight = bigger wakes!

If you don’t have a ballast system that is factory installed and plumbed into your boat where everything is filled/drained by the flip of a switch, don’t fret. You can still manually fill/drain sacs you have placed throughout your boat to achieve the best wake possible for your ride. Read More >

2017 Valdosta Yard Sale

The Valdosta Yard Sale is a celebration of wakeboarding brought to you by Rockstar Energy Drink, Slingshot Wakeboards, Sesitec, BuyWake.com, and many more. Located at the Valdosta Wake Compound in South Georgia, the Yard Sale will take place April 20th-23rd on VWC’s pro Sesitec System 2.0 course. This event will be an invitational contest bringing together 35 of the world’s best park/urban riders for a long weekend of board shreddin’, live music, and, most importantly, GOOD VIBES.

In addition to the invites, there will be an open qualifier taking place on the full cable Thursday, April 20th in which ANYONE is welcome to register and compete for the chance to win 1 of 5 wildcard spots to join the crew under the System 2.0. We will also be hosting a Pro Women’s contest (full cable best lap) on Friday, April 21st, because we LOVE the ladies, and feel that the more love for park riding we can put in one place, the better. While we’re on that topic, the first stop of The Wakeskate Tour will also be going down under the exclusive wakeskate Sesitec System 2.0 course.
