ODYSSEY – FULL MOVIE

One of our favorite things to watch are films done by riders for riders.  Watch Chris O’Shea and his friends rip around this planet and ride some of the best cable parks in the world.  The film has a great mix of style and some of the best drone footage we’ve seen in some time.  Enjoy!

ODYSSEY – 12 MONTHS IN THE MAKING

Odyssey is a short film documenting the travels of Mitch Langfield and Chris O’Shea from April 2013 to April 2014 through France, Spain, Germany, Holland, England, Wales, Thailand, Australia, The Philippines.

“Everywhere you go you meet up with riders… We started collecting footage of us and Aaron Gunn in Europe last summer. Since then, in Australia, the US, Thailand and the Philippines we’ve shot James Windsor, Manu Rupp, Antoni Van der Wekken. Ben Leclair, Graeme Burress, Daniel Grant, Brad Mason… We basically filmed anyone who we liked. If we liked their riding then we filmed them. And us two (Mitch Langfield and Chris O’Shea), obviously!” Mitch Langfield. Read More >

Dylan Miller – Pushin’

If there is one aspect of wakeboarding that I love the most it’s snowboard style.  What?  Yeah…snowboard style.  Dylan has these quirky moves that I’ve seen in snowboard videos for years.  Butters…gnarly taps…gap to wall rides and so on.  Dylan’s edit that was put together by Taylor Hanley is hands down one of the sickest ever.  Peep Dylan getting himself into some sticky situations and coming out super clean.  Just wait for the rail to lake.

Justin Lee “Saturated”

Ambush Wake Team rider Justin Lee isn’t just some new kid on the block learning to ride cable at Terminus.  Justin is a young seasoned rider who possesses his own cable park in his back yard and has been to more cable parks than you would know.  Justin can now be found at the new Terminus Wake Park in north Atlanta on a regular basis.  Home court advantage is real.  Watch Justin’s new edit and peep for yourself.

What did I just watch?

Unless you have been under a rock for the past 11 years then you know watching Danny Hampson and Aaron Reed ride behind a boat is nothing shy of magical.  Watching these two dance on the water brings an almost calming affect to the soul at times.  Well not this time…Dan basically just gave me a heart attack with his back to back trick selection and both Dan and Aaron’s lip tricks are a node to the Sfumato days.  Do yourself a favor and enjoy a couple ole river dogs getting down behind Aaron’s new boat.

Video Is King

The days of waiting ’til the end of the year for a video to drop are basically gone.  It wasn’t long ago we had to lurk the pages of Alliance Wake Mag to see images of Justin Stephens shooting a film in order to get excited for its releaseor even know that the release was coming.   Nowadays we get to stalk Sean Kilgus as he takes us through the filming process with some behind-the-scenes clips and get amped again for a physical copy to be released (Prime coming soon, yo!).  Yet I have to admit there is something absolutely magical about downloading a film like Drop the Gun.

Today, viewing content is all about the convince of my iPad and streaming video directly to my big ass TV 8 ft in front of me.  I mean…is it laziness or convenience that makes me glad that I don’t have to get up and put the disc in, or search through dozens of DVD cases to find what I want to watch because I blew it and didn’t put it back in the right case?
