Nike’s No Worries – Wakeskating Video

Well if you are like us you have been waiting on this video from the Nike Wakeskating crew!  The boys built a custom feature down at Valdosta Wake Compound and essentially made all wakeskaters world wide want to go there!  Sit back and watch nine minutes of some of the heaviest tricks done on a wakeskate from the best riders in the world.

From Alliance Wake:

“No Worries takes you into a week in the life of the Nike Wakeskate Team at the Valdosta Wake Compound. The team consisting of Nick Taylor, Ben Horan, Andrew Pastura, Yan Lecomte, and Austin Pastura spent a week riding the entire park focusing on a Nike specific spot of the park built by our very own Ben Horan with help of other friends in the wakeskate community. After an amazing road trip for our last team trip we chose to partner with the Valdosta boys and focus our efforts on one spot which will be a permanent fixture to the VWC park. Give these guys one week in any spot and you are bound to see some of the most amazing wakekskating ever. Put them on a perfect spot built by riders and this is what you get. Enjoy and we hope to see you at the park soon. Read More >

2016 Hyperlite, Byerly, and Nautique! Oh, My!

Having Fun in the Sun with Nautique Boats

Last weekend we had the opportunity to go visit the Marine Max Buford location and meet up with our Nautique Boats family!  They were in town for a “Ride with the Pros” event then headed to the Nautique Wake Surf Nationals and guess what…they had a 2016 G23!  It was great catching up with Noah Flegel and Jimmy LaRiche, and our longtime friend and rep for Hyperlite/Byerly, Eddie Beverly.  Eddie, or “EBev,” as he is most known by, had a special treat for us to see with a quiver of 2016 Hyperlite and Byerly surfers.  We must say that these two brands knocked it out of the park this year.  Most notably Hyperlite has this insane new shape called “The Time Machine.”  Seriously, if you know anything about surfing this board is similar to the Tomo surfboards Vader series, but tweaked for wakesurfing.  If that weren’t enough, the Time Machine features a cork top for maximum grip, as well as all new Futures Fins!  The Byerly crew also have another banger with the 2016 Action, as it features Durashell construction with a EPS core and yes, Byerly Futures Fins!  You would be wise to add either one of these to your quiver. The All New 2016 Nautique G Series

Hands down one of the best boats in Wakeboarding is the Nautique G Series.  When Nautique released the new design it hit everyone with a welcome smack to the face!  In addition to wakeboarding, the Nautique G Series is known for being one of the best wakesurfing boats there is.  The Nautique Surf System or NSS as it’s commonly referred to has taken the sport of wakesufing and promptly placed it on the map.  If the boat wasn’t already good enough Nautique just released their all new and improved G Series for 2016 and it’s packed with features!  A new hull, interior, and control system you need to prepare yourself….it’s mind blowing.  Listen to team rider Jeff McKee and the legend himself Mr. Shaun Murry as they walk you through the new Nautique G Series… #GameChanger.
