Do You Double Tap? 6 Instagram Accounts You Should Follow

Look you know it’s the first thing you do when you pull that iPhone out of your pocket.  Sure you follow friends and family (your mom’s on insta and you don’t even know it), but for the love of the wake world who do you follow?  @!HarleyClifford gets two thousand likes in his sleep and @wakezeach gets 100 a post , but they will keep you laughing your ass off.  This mixed bag of followers are a must follow for action and entertainment.

1) Chris O’Shea – Not only is he a ripper on the water Chris has been taking some of the most amazing images this past year.  Good for the soul.

2) Nike Wakeskating – It’s no secret we back wakeskating and have been doing so for a hot minuite…we like the idea of big Nike staying and helping grow such a small part of this industry.  Plus they have some of the best riders to watch ever.  Just do it. Read More >

The Return of Mike Dowdy

So I spoke with Mike yesterday and he is fully cleared to get back on the wakeboard again.  Now don’t jump to conclusions of seeing multiple double flips just yet.  Mike has been busting his ass training and rehabbing his knee slowly to get his knee stronger for longevity.  Only a few weeks ago he started wakesurfing to get the “feel” of being on the water.  The power of the mind is unreal when you focus your thoughts on what you want and Mike wants it all.  We are all stoked to see him ride again, but his great return will come at his pace not ours.

Go get ’em Dirty Mike Dowdy.

Dylan Miller – Pushin’

If there is one aspect of wakeboarding that I love the most it’s snowboard style.  What?  Yeah…snowboard style.  Dylan has these quirky moves that I’ve seen in snowboard videos for years.  Butters…gnarly taps…gap to wall rides and so on.  Dylan’s edit that was put together by Taylor Hanley is hands down one of the sickest ever.  Peep Dylan getting himself into some sticky situations and coming out super clean.  Just wait for the rail to lake.

Justin Lee “Saturated”

Ambush Wake Team rider Justin Lee isn’t just some new kid on the block learning to ride cable at Terminus.  Justin is a young seasoned rider who possesses his own cable park in his back yard and has been to more cable parks than you would know.  Justin can now be found at the new Terminus Wake Park in north Atlanta on a regular basis.  Home court advantage is real.  Watch Justin’s new edit and peep for yourself.

What did I just watch?

Unless you have been under a rock for the past 11 years then you know watching Danny Hampson and Aaron Reed ride behind a boat is nothing shy of magical.  Watching these two dance on the water brings an almost calming affect to the soul at times.  Well not this time…Dan basically just gave me a heart attack with his back to back trick selection and both Dan and Aaron’s lip tricks are a node to the Sfumato days.  Do yourself a favor and enjoy a couple ole river dogs getting down behind Aaron’s new boat.
