Fresh off his weekend at the Red Bull Wake Open, Sal Masekela drops the latest version of his instructional app TSO Wake 2.0
The app has been updated with all new graphics and comes with a new message center where users will receive everything from free bonus video content to special promo codes and deal offers from TSO partners.
Users can now download the version 1.0 trick videos for free or upgrade to the new Premier videos featuring TSO rider Corey Bradley with multiple camera angles and voice instruction on every trick. Four sample Premier vids are included in the free download – Getting Up, Ollie, HS BS 360, and Tootsie Roll. Also available in TSO’s In App store are 10 trick Pro Sets from Harley Clifford, Phil Soven, Ben Greenwood, Reed Hansen, and Drew Danielo with more riders set to drop soon, as well as a ‘Grabs’ Pro Set from Corey Bradley.
Wakeboarding has become a staple in lakes and rivers across the nation. Local tournaments, festivals, and other events create communities of riders that unite solely for the love of the sport. Without the individuals who create and orchestrate local events, these communities of riders would struggle to exist. Because of people like Maurice Daquin of Lousiana, grassroots wakeboarding will always have a pulse.
In 2006, Maurice founded the Louisiana Tech Wake Team. Since then, he has been its acting president, put a Sesitec System 2.0 on campus, helped Louisiana Tech host their first wake tournament, and facilitated the genesis of the Louisiana Collegiate Wake Tour.
“I continue to put my best efforts towards my passion and the possibility to make a better tomorrow for the collegiate wake scene” Daquin explains. “To keep the collegiate wake experience alive is why I work so hard to do what I do!”
Acworth, GA – A solid boat set last Thursday with VIP winner, Anthony Kennedy, marked the conclusion of our AmbushBoardCo.com/BuyWake.com “Pro Wakeboard Tour VIP Weekend” contest.
Anthony’s VIP weekend started inside Ambush on Friday, May 18 when he was chosen as our PWT VIP among many other hopefuls who entered the sweepstakes by checking in via Foursquare at The Shop at 7:00 PM.
“I was super stoked to win, just to to be going,” Anthony said. “I missed it last year so I wanted to make sure there was no way I was going to miss it this year.”
Anthony and his girlfriend, Alli, spent the following Saturday mingling with wakeboarding’s elite and even scored a private tour on one of the five Nautique G23s in existence. The long day ended that evening in downtown Acworth where Anthony was able to snag a picture with BuyWake.com Pro Rider, Harley Clifford moments before he hit the podium to claim his victory.
