We just returned from arguably the best pro wake contest we’ve ever been to: the Slingshot sponsored event properly titled Yardsale held at Valdosta Wake Compound.
This invitation only event was run on a Sesitec System 2.0 course set up unlike anything we’ve ever seen! With one day of practice and three full days of Best Line, Best Feature, and Best Trick, there was no lack of bangers. The time has come for all of us wake enthusiasts to get our minds blown from watching the worlds best wakeboarders. The Shredtown Jamboree is a invite only event held at the Shredtown ranch near Dallas, TX. Our BuyWake Team Riders Andrew, Davis, and Chris are arguably the most talented winch and park riders in the game today, and the obstacles they build are legendary to say the lease. Inviting the worlds most talented park riders just so happened to include some of our other Team Riders; Dylan Miller, Quinn Silvernale, Blake Bishop, Wesley Mark Jacobsen, and Felix Georgii. Yup, that’s eight total BuyWake/Ambush riders in a 15-rider invite. The odds were good that one of our boys would come out on top. This year it was Quinn who took home the Best Line Award! The surprise award of the night was most certainly the “Dad Cam” award that our boy Cole Vanthof won. Cole kept the boys in his sights day and night with his sick zooms and night vision. Being a badass wakeboarder is OK, but…if you also have video skills to go along with it, you’re basically a game-changer. BuyWake.com visits Orlando,FL for 2015 Surf Expo…aka Bro Party
So every year the water sports industry descends upon Orlando for Surf Expo. Retailers from across the globe come to see new product and get one on one time with some of the brands. We always like getting to Expo and seeing all our friends from brands and especially some of our Team Riders. This year we saw some of the coolest booths ever! Liquid Force had a clean open aired booth and was laced with their entire line. Some highlights were seeing the 2016 LTD boards and boots with the LF’N Awesome theme to it! Our good friend Harley Clifford showed us his 2016 Remedy and his 2016 LTD product.

Growing the popular Real Series lineup, the ABC’s World of X Games will air the first-ever Real Wake Driven by MasterCraft video competition this summer, in collaboration with Alliance MultiMedia. The competition will showcase some of the biggest names in wakeboarding today reconnecting the sport with X Games for the first time since 2005.
ESPN X Games and Alliance MultiMedia involved MasterCraft Boats given the company’s long-standing history with X Games and their commitment to supporting competitive wakeboarding and the progression of watersports. Part of a summer-long initiative, Real Wake Driven by MasterCraft will be followed by the MasterCraft Throwdown event on August 8, 2015. Read More >
