BuyWake pro rider Harley Clifford claimed his second win of the season last weekend in Mandurah, Australia, at the inaugural Waterski & Wakeboard World Cup stop. It sounds like Japan’s Shota Tezuka gave the golden boy a run for his money, however. Here’s what IWWF had to say:
“Harley Clifford, seeded number one, was almost caught by seed three, Shota Tezuka from Japan. In the final scoring after much deliberation by the World Cup judges, the reigning Mandurah Stop Champion Clifford won by less than three points – a very close shave. Daniel Powers USA secured third place also with a great performance. This battle will certainly continue at the next World Cup Stop in Palembang, Indonesia.” – IWWF
“Using an array of angles on one of the most beautiful lakes in Central Florida, this clip follows the Oakley wake team from sun up to sun down doing what they do best. Shooting behind the new Mastercraft X Star and with a helicopter on hand to capture some never-before-seen angles, the result was some of the best riding from the star-studded lineup of Oakley Wake athletes. The team spent the day capturing some of the best free-riding to date and ended the shoot in downtown Orlando. ” – Oakley Wake
