Video has always played a huge roll in wakeboarding, but the model is constantly changing. In the past five years there has been a huge influx in online wakeboarding clips, parts, edits, reviews, etc. Anyone can do it. So, will we eventually lose interest in the art of wakeboard film making due to this over abundance? Judging from this Raph Derome part from Liquid Force, Justin Loiselle, and Jonathen Ferguson, no, we wont.
This is perhaps our favorite “web edit” all year. The riding, filming, and creativity made us want to drop everything we were doing and go wakeboarding. This is exactly what a wakeboard film should do. Thank you for the inspiration, Raph.
Liquid Force and Young & Reckless recently teamed up to release a small run of limited boardshorts under the LF brandname. With this collab, two limited edition Watson Classics were pressed…and we have one of them.
We have decided to give the deck away randomly via Facebook. To enter, head to the BuyWake Facebook page and click the “Win a FREE Board” tab or click this link.

It seems as if the pursuit of an endless summer has really paid off for Mr. Clifford. We remember a time way back, when he rounding out the top 5 in the boys division at U.S. Nationals…now he does blind petes without the handle. Bravo Harley, bravo.
