BuyWake.com visits Orlando,FL for 2015 Surf Expo…aka Bro Party
So every year the water sports industry descends upon Orlando for Surf Expo. Retailers from across the globe come to see new product and get one on one time with some of the brands. We always like getting to Expo and seeing all our friends from brands and especially some of our Team Riders. This year we saw some of the coolest booths ever! Liquid Force had a clean open aired booth and was laced with their entire line. Some highlights were seeing the 2016 LTD boards and boots with the LF’N Awesome theme to it! Our good friend Harley Clifford showed us his 2016 Remedy and his 2016 LTD product.

Getting to see the rest of the line in person really affirmed our thoughts that you guys are going to love next years product. Peep some of the Boards, Bindings, and Surfers we saw.
We ran into our good buddy Eddie Beverly with Hyperlite and Byerly Boards and he showed us some really cool new things. First, we got to see Shaun Murry’s new board celebrating his 20th pro model wakeboard…yes 20!
It was seriously good looking! Also it will come in a 150cm size…it seemed to be a common trend with some of the wake manufactures producing large sized boards for next season. On the Byerly side they have a board called the “Buck” that comes in a Park version and a Boat version. Ambush Board Co.’s very own Cole told us it was his go to for next year and he is backing it 100%. Checkout the photos!

If there was one company that had an ace up their sleeve this year it was
Ronix. From new lace locks for the bindings to the honey comb surfers that are almost indestructible we were stoked! We got to see the new wakeboard that will be ridden by
Shota and
Erik Ruck called “The Space Blanket”. Each board is hand painted on one side of the top sheet so no two boards are alike…really cool. Also 2016 officially marks the 10 year anniversary and the
Danny Harf ONE series took the throwback approach and this years ONE series features the original graphic from the first ONE wakeboard! Ronix is coming in hot for 2016 with their boards, boots, and surfers so we hope you’re ready!

Chris Ababdie was kicking it in the
Slingshot booth and he just happened to receive his
Wakeworld Award for Rail Rider of the Year. Chris can add that with the two gold XGames medals from Real Wake….hahah. Overall the 2016 Slingshot line is really rad! We’re saving some images for later so we will leave you with this teaser of the Response and Chris.

After the end of the day on Friday we headed to the
Alliance Wake Booth for Premiers and Beers! The build up of
Massi and Russell’s video edit “Project X” was HD on crack!
Russell is a great videographer and captured the Ronix Rider perfectly. Can’t wait for that edit to drop online for you guys to see it…it’s a certified banger. Also the boys

Wesley had The Coalition Vol. 3″ video drop right after and those guys are setting
Valdosta Wake Park on fire! They have some of the most unique features at that cable park and it’s always a guaranteed good time down there. Well we’re glad it’s over and really looking forward to providing our great customers and friends the best wake product once again for 2016.
