Nautique 2021 Southeast Regatta at Lake Lanier Islands

A glorious view from the BuyWake Nautique G21
A glorious view from our Nautique G21

One of the highlights of being a partner with Nautique is definitely going to the Southeast Regatta. We look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones in this community of Nautique owners. The amount of new super trick G23s, Paragons, and some really sweet 210s was all-time. Our friends at Watersports Central were next to us and it was super fun to hang out with Jeff McKee, Rusty Malinowski, John Akerman, Erica Lang, and so many more Nautique Athletes.

There are two more Nautique Regattas this year one, in Texas and then Arizona, so if you live near those locations, we highly suggest you attend!

New Nautique, Some Golf, Daytona Bike Week and Back

How’s that for a title? Last week I ventured down to Florida with my good friend EBev (OG Hyperlite rep) to participate in some “team building” with our good friends and partners, Nautique. It was without a doubt one of the more fun trips I’ve ever had. Jam packed each day is an understatement.

Lake Nona Golf & Country Club

Our trip started with a nice little round of golf at a little hole in the wall golf course called Lake Nona Golf & Country Club a week after it hosted the 2021 Gainbridge LPGA event. NBD. We had a blast from start to finish, as the fairways were pure, the bunkers were visited, and the greens rolled about as fast as it gets. It was awesome to spend the day with such an inspiring group of guys that truly have a passion for their respective brands and know how to unwind and get away from the day-to-day and enjoy a solid round. Well played, boys. Read More >

2020 Atlanta Boat Show with Watersports Central and Nautique Boats

It’s the season for Boat Shows and if you had to guess which one is the best to attend here is a hint – Atlanta! Our partners at Watersports Central are the premier Nautique dealership in the south and they had some of the best looking Nautique boats for 2020. GS series, G series, Ski Nautique, and the beast of the show which is the new G23 Paragon. It’s true the Paragon is expensive, but it is the absolute best….no details over looked. You don’t need to spend $267,000 on a Paragon and you can have just as much fun in a GS20 for a far less price tag.

The Atlanta Boat Show continues to grow and attract tens of thousands of people every year. Saturday was by far one of the most fun days spent talking with everyone about the boats and hearing about their love for towed watersports. The conciseness is we all miss boating weather and can’t wait for the season to come. Congratulations Watersports Central who won Best Overall Display for the 2020 Atlanta Boat Show! 👑. Read More >

Summer Ride Tour – ATLANTA with Phase Five Wakesurfing.

In the third installment of the Summer Ride Tour, John Akerman stopped by the shop and scooped up the van for a road trip to Atlanta. The first stop was the Liner’s house (AKA Surf Dad and Surf Mom) where the crew stayed for the majority of the trip. They were absolutely amazing hosts! The boys surfed their brains out and one of the trip highlights was John signing Gabe’s Nautique G23! After a fun stay with the Liners, they packed up the van and had a demo day with Watersports Central and BuyWake.com on Lake Allatoona at the famous Blue Cat Lodge location. John spent the day coaching up everyone that came out. One of those riders was P5 team rider Jake Borton. Jake is one the best wakesurf enthusiasts we know and he reps P5 with a passion. The boys were stoked to get to hang out with him. Final stop on this road trip was with P5 team rider Leland Watkins to surf and have a bit of foil fun. Thank you to all the friends and families that have come out and made it possible to ride some waves thus far on the Summer Ride Tour!

Beers, Boats…Kangaroos | The Grand Re-Opening of WaterSports Central – Seneca, SC

Ribbon Cutting - WaterSports Central - Seneca, SC

I went to this killer party on Friday night. But, when I told everyone about it, no one believed me. I explained how it had all the free beer and wine you would possibly drink, a lavish food spread (also free), hand made ice cream (totally on the house too), a DJ, a killer collection of boats, and some exotic wildlife like kangaroos, lemurs, and a massive snake. As inconceivable as all this may seem, it all came together for the grand opening of WaterSports Central’s new location in Seneca, SC.

WaterSports Central is Georgia and South Carolina’s premier dealer of Crownline, Bryant, XCursion, and of course, Nautique boats. WSC celebrated the grand reopening of their Seneca, SC location in pretty extraordinary fashion. They rolled out the red carpet for the community and gave them an impressive glimpse as to the caliber of boat dealer they most certainly are. Read More >
